The Saline County Solid Waste Management District, also known as Recycle Saline, highly values the input of its citizens. Currently, Recycle Saline is seeking input to gauge the opinions of Saline County residents about garbage and recycling services. Recycle Saline’s responsibilities primarily include operating the Recycle Saline collection center where residents can drop off recyclables, the Landfill Coupon Program, and licensing haulers who offer collection services for County residents and businesses. We currently have 23 residential licensed haulers in the County. Recycle Saline also provides education and outreach working with Saline County schools providing recycling programs. As Recycle Saline works toward implementing our recently completed Solid Waste Management Plan, we are eager to hear from our residents to help us learn how we can improve on services and how to prioritize our initiatives.
